We are looking for energetic and passionate individuals to join our team as Band 5 Speech and Language Therapists. You will be a key part of the multi-disciplinary team within Meadow View and you will also be part of our Therapeutic Services team. The MDT at Meadow View comprises mostly of newly qualified therapists that have progressed to Band 6 with us so the support for your first steps in your career is well tested and proven. Our Therapists make a key contribution to our capacity to provide effective person-centered positive behaviour support. Our inclusive way of working has the people we support as a true partner in their care.

In recognition of this, our CPD opportunities are second to none: you will have the opportunity to complete a Post grad qualification in Dysphagia/ Sensory processing within the first few years with us. Therapeutic staff are actively encouraged to attend conferences, join relevant CEN groups and access internal and external training opportunities e.g Intensive Interaction, Makaton, Rebound Therapy, Talking Mats, MCA.
This role will be challenging but rewarding, with the opportunity to have a real impact on improving the lives of people who use our services. Within the role, you will provide a service to the individuals who live within the group to ensure that each person’s speech and language and eating and drinking needs are met within a Positive Behaviour Support framework. Your work will support those within our service to learn and develop skills that will enable them to life a lifestyle of their choice.
