About The Role

Hesley Group are recruiting for a proactive and forward thinking Workforce Development Manager to develop and lead the Workforce Learning and Development team. The Workforce Development Manager will work with the Senior Management Team to establish and provide Workforce Development solutions that meet the needs of Hesley Group. 
 
Working with key stakeholders across the business you will analyse, identify plan and review the organisation and delivery of the workforce solutions for all departments with the Hesley Group ensuring that we are supporting an inclusive working culture where all staff are encouraged to learn and develop. 
 
You will ensure the successful delivery of a full range of Workforce Development programmes covering Apprenticeships to Leadership programmes, monitoring and evaluating the outcomes impact of these programmes on the workforce. This includes the organisation and evaluation of external training programmes and those programmes that are externally accredited. 
 
You would be responsible for the delivery of specific learning and development qualifications, activities and programmes as required to assist with employee development and retention as well as having oversight of all qualification pathways and the Hesley People Awarding Centre used to support Care Diplomas, working with the IQA and Qualifications Lead to do this.

About You

 
You will need to be a creative thinker with excellent organisational skills, who is able to work towards deadlines and objectives. We are looking for someone who has plenty of initiative, solution focused and and able to address problems in a systematic manner. 
 
You will need to have a relevant transferable training/learning and development qualification to level 5 equivalent as well as a minimum of 5 years training experience within a similar setting. Knowledge of learning disabilities, autism and behaviours of concern is also an essential requirement of the role. 
 
You will be knowledgeable about adult learning principles and methods of delivery as well as knowledge of regulatory standards that impact on service and learning and development provisions. You will have experience of conducting training needs analysis and how they relate to key business objectives.
  
 It is now a legal requirement for anybody working in a CQC regulated care home in England regardless of role to be fully vaccinated against COVID 19. You will be asked to provide proof of your COVID Vaccinations at interview, without proof of your vaccinations we will be unable to progress your interview.
