About The Role

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Behaviour Therapist to support at our new adult residential service in Scunthorpe. The people we support in our services require support with a range of specific needs, including: issues relating to trauma, attachment and loss; emotional health and wellbeing; behaviour that challenges; identity and relationship development. Support may be delivered via individual sessions, but is often carried out indirectly through staff training and consultation. 

You will conduct functional behavioural assessments and formulate and implement behavioural interventions. In addition, you will provide specialist behavioural advice, guidance and consultation to a range of stakeholders.

Your role is integral in enabling the people we support to develop skills that make them become more independent and to live a lifestyle of their choosing.


About You

We are looking for a Behaviour Therapist with:

  • An MSc in PBS/ABA or equivalent.
  • Experience of delivering a behavioural service within a positive behavioural support framework.
  • Skills to enable them to become more independent and to live a lifestyle of their choosing
  • Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support with an emphasis on person-centred planning.
  • Evidence of being a strong team player with a genuine desire to help others
  • Good organisational and project management skills
  • Ability to work flexibly in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience of developing and delivering training
