Established in 1975, the Hesley Group provides flexible, specialist residential services and schools. We aim to offer the best possible care, education and vocational opportunities for young people and adults, often with autism, who have a learning disability and complex needs including behaviour which may challenge.
We require a Registered Clinical/Forensic Psychologist to work within the Adult services Applied Psychology team. The team consists of Qualified Psychologists, Assistant Psychologists and Behavioural Therapists. The post will be provide clinical input where needed across our sites in South and North Yorkshire (Barnsley, Doncaster, Easingwold nr York). We have additional new services in the pipeline for 2021/22. Base to be discussed at interview.
The people we support in Adult services may require support with a range of specific needs, including: issues relating to trauma, attachment and loss; emotional health and wellbeing; behaviours of concern; identity and relationship development. Support may be delivered via individual therapy sessions, or indirectly through staff training and consultation.
