About The Role

Location: Supported Living - Denaby Main
Would you like to be part of something new and exciting? Would you like to be part of a project which sees a new service grown and develop? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to work at our Supported Living services in Denaby, Doncaster, as an Assistant Community Support Manager. 
 

The Night Assistant Community Support Manager is responsible for leading a designated group of support workers to ensure that excellent services are delivered to each person supported by The Group.  This role is a supervisory role and an Assistant Community Support Manager is expected both to formally and informally (through the use of mentorship, role modelling etc.) supervise each support worker on a regular basis.

 
You will be expected to monitor, report and advise on practices which promote choice, well-being and protection of all individuals as well as ensuring individual and groups are supported appropriately when experiencing significant life events and transitions.
 
 
 

About You

As well as being a compassionate individual you will need to have a NVQ Level 2 in Adult Health and Social Care and be prepared to work towards NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care whilst in post.

You will need to have successful experience of working with adults with learning disabilities within a residential setting and experience of successfully managing a team and its resources.
