About The Role

Hesley Group are recruiting for an Advanced Practitioner to work at our new adult residential service - Dragonby Road in Scunthorpe. 

This is a significant position within the service as the Advanced Practitioner will have responsibility to support and develop the operational team in their knowledge and understanding, ensuring that the people we support receive a high quality, outcome-focused and personalised service which meets their needs.

Working as part of the local senior management team, this role will involve developing and implementing bespoke plans to meet the individual needs of the people we support. This will enable people we support to have the best possible quality of life and to grow in confidence, competence and personal effectiveness.
 
To competently use all IT systems deployed by the group, with a focus on care and support software and incident management software. 
Ensure that accurate records are kept for each individual we support pertaining to the support they receive, and the managements of incidents, with clear follow up, including debriefs, lessons learnt and continuous improvement feedback.

You will be expected to train, coach and support staff to implement strategies as well advising on best practice to ensure we meet the individual needs of the people living within the service.

About You

We are looking for someone who has a successful track record of working with adults with learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as behaviours of concern. 
 
You will be a positive role model and coach for the team you are supporting as well as being self directing with excellent organisational skills who is reliable and able to identify and see tasks through to completion.
