About The Role

With children and young people at the centre of all we do, Hesley Group is expanding its Children's Services.
We have opened a new Children's Home within the area of Denaby and as such we'll need a team of kind, supportive and creative people to support 4 young people move into and enjoy life in their new home Wheatley House. 
As a Team Leader, whilst working with the young people, you will perform the duties that our Support Workers do as well as being a great role model ensuring your team are supported and work with the young people fully in their minds. You will also have supervisory duties plus have time available to complete administrative work, attend meetings and carry out checks to support the quality of care and safety of the household. Team Leaders will work a rota pattern of evenings, nights, mornings and weekends.
All of the young people living at Wheatley House will attend Fullerton House School for their education. During the school day they will be supported by Education Support Workers. During term time our Support Teams will assist the young people with getting to school and hand them safely over to the Educational Support Team once there. You will liaise with the school for updates during the educational day so that you can support the young person on their return home from school. During school holidays your rota will change to 
provide the young people with support during that time

About You

It is essential that you hold Diploma level 3/4 in Health and Social Care and have significant experience of care support work at a standard assessed as competent in all aspects of the role. 

This is a great opportunity for someone with the right skills to gain some experience of a management role.
