We are recruiting Support Workers!
With children and young people at the centre of all we do, Hesley Group is expanding its Children's Services.
We have opened a new Children's Home within the area of Denaby and as such we'll need a team of kind, supportive and creative people to support 4 young people move into and enjoy life in their new home Wheatley House.
As a Support Worker you’ll work as part of a team, together with a Team Leader and the Registered Manager, to ensure high standards of care, support, health and well being are met for the young people who will live with us. You will also be supporting them to be young people who can have fun, go out and enjoy activities. Due to the complex needs of the young people we support they may require lots of staff interest in order to engage, motivate and support them whilst ensuring they are safe and well. Support Workers will work a rota pattern covering evenings, mornings, nights and weekends.
All of the young people living at Wheatley House will attend Fullerton House School for their education. During the school day they will be supported by Education Support Workers. During term time our Support Teams will assist the young people with getting to school and hand them safely over to the Educational Support Team once there. You will liaise with the school for updates during the educational day so that you can support the young person on their return home from school. During school holidays your rota will change to provide the young people with support during that time.
