About The Role

We are recruiting now for Night Support Workers!

Are you a night owl? Are you a caring person?

If so, Low Laithes would love to hear from you! We are looking to recruit 3 Night Support Workers to support young people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs including behaviours that may challenge during the night. If you have a positive attitude and are a good communicator who cares about people’s well-being then this could be the role for you.

Low Laithes is a specialist residential service providing high standards of accommodation, personal care and support for adults aged 18 years and over all of whom have a learning disability, often together with autism and complex needs including behaviour that may challenge.

The people we support have various needs and so it will be key that you ensure they receive an excellent level of care throughout the night. Even when the people we support are asleep you will be able to carry out other duties such as domestic duties for example cleaning and other household chores. You will always have another colleague on site to support you as the welfare of our staff is paramount.

Our shift patterns offer staff an opportunity to work varied hours or shifts per week. The benefits for the people we support are that they receive support from engaged and motivated staff.
 

Hours of work - Full time average of 36 hours per week

Weekdays:   21:30 – 07:45     Weekends:   21:30 – 07:45

About You


You don't need to have experience but it is essential that you share our values. We will support you in becoming a qualified Night Support Worker and provide you with excellent training and support throughout your career in the Hesley Group so you become a qualified Support Worker.


 It is now a legal requirement for anybody working in a CQC regulated care home in England regardless of role to be fully vaccinated against COVID 19. You have until 11th November 2021 to be fully vaccinated. You will be asked to provide proof of your COVID Vaccinations at interview, without proof of at least one vaccination we will be unable to progress your interview.
